Saturated Our Goodbyes
Pupils dance,
On a face covering their way.
Waiting forever in answers,
But the heart never seems to stay.
Sweet distances divided, everyday we taste.
What has intrigued our hearts before,
Has now seen the life in it, slip away.
How shallow our hearts get, when changing its face.
The most remembrances,
And posted pictures become the hardest.
Fade for me?
Becoming like them, voiceless,
A thing of the past.
Now so clear in eyes, and seen what's left in mine.
All that I, despise.
Blanketed over and redundant,
Your emotions coat my skull,
Leaving mine I can't no longer find.
Saturated in useless charades,
Filling full our past yesterdays.
None to find the strength within,
To push away, let go, goodbye.
