Santa's On a Diet

Santa's on a diet Mama said even too papa should try it Santa can't have cookes no more they say Santa's on a diet night and day He must not eat of sugar His reindeer will run and cry if he gets any bigger His jolly old belly is not of just jelly He must refrain of fats and sweets Or getting in the slay will may require a crane So day by day he must get firm and fit for mama says They'll throw him in the coal pit He is no longer now that same heavy old guy we used to know He's now on diet of low and chelesteroooooll So if you see a a cute older guy in a furry red suit with gleeming eyes who isn't now so shy It could be him he's now so fit and trim. Linda Terrell December 6, 2009 We all know that Christ is the reason for Christmas. This little poem is all of fun for the up coming holiday season..Merry Christmas to all!

Love this poem, Linda! Really laughed when I read how they might need a crane to get Santa in his sleigh. Actually, I kind of like the thought of him being "a cute older guy." Shyness fades as your gain more confidence in your appearance. Bet he'll be kissing mama underneath the tree this year as curious eyes watch in delight. Great work! Love, carolyn
