Mightier than the sword! No, I've sort of got bogged since Milt has gone. I think the whole Soup has lost its way without him. Elizabeth

I am truly grateful for your reply. I have been upset lately when I read of someone's acme of forgiveness. That still feels so hierarchical to me, big-good me forgives little-bad you. As you have so adroitly put it: why blame in the first place? Things happen, people happen. Do what needs to be done to fix it. Thank you Elizabeth

In truth, as observed by you, forgiveness is passé ~ just accept, shrug and move on

Exactly. We don't forgive a hurricane or flood, only a person (or naughty cat). Blame is such an indulgence. Elizabeth

But blame should be personal.
