Sanctuary In Solitude

Sanctuary means different things to whoever it may apply it can be a hiding place of solitude especially when confronted with question why But for me what makes my sanctuary is being alone in that quiet place having time to think and contemplate just to be myself in time and space To listen to real beautiful music classical in nature holding my breath making one's thoughts a moment still thinking of that moment before death Having a book of wise counsel filling one's mind with godly thought this truly is my real sanctuary being in that place to be taught This sanctuary is a beautiful thing as one leaves your world behind to ponder and pose with no distraction reality and purpose there to find © poetgord
