Sanctuary

A place to be forgotten, To think of fairy tales, To feel all but unwanted, When all but imagination fails. To go to a special place, To feel drugged beyond belief, While seeing darts and daggers, The blade you may recieve. An intoxicating world, To stay whenever you please, Do wander for your own life's sake, As you'll soon be on your knees. Feeling lonely and depressed, Such a feeling worth life so, Once it burns you in your soul, You will forever know. That satan's put his mark on you, made you hear his tune, Scarred with all the lies, Drinking in the agony hole saloon. Knowing Death day is coming, Expecting the only thing, That sword of lust reaching to kill, Sin may evenly bring. A sanctuary is it's name, The word to use for home, For everyone's is different, Where thoze blazing eyes may roam. To follow like undying shadows, Invisible to the eye, Soon that sanctuary will leave, The last breath you take, you die. To be lost beyond recognition, Longing for the love, knowing it will bring you pain, as you'll never rise above. But never give up hope, For God is by your side, If you love him as your Provider, He will fill your heart with pride. Never lose all faith, As the right day is near, It isn't worth the risk, Lost souls may come in the clear. That calming nature is held, A place secure to see, The storms have calmed, the day is here, In that sanctuary you'll always be.
