Sanctify Trail
The drafting on of renaissance curtail
earmarks of goodly fortune, so avail
the breeding of contentment, this rest's hail
imbibes my soul's delivery with assail!
To caulk the artworks beauty, cover stale
in moment's grand assumption, empty, fail!
Consign my emptiness, this cross exhale
this masking of my enmity . . . not jail!
That looking up to fairness, merely wail
it is the struggles loss, I feel as ail,
that competitions toss, no matters nail
it were the season's gloss, not light to scale!
Life worth the moments leaving, not in braille
but focused earthly, counterpart eye's shale.
The washing of my eye, God split the rail,
and sanctify my enemies' worse trail!
