Sammy

SAMMY Love and joy felt enter my life day saw Sammy arrive. Suddenly emptiness vanished, once again … felt alive. Sammy gets extra comfortable especially on my lap. And I welcome his warm body, when time for bed … or nap. Under chin against my chest, that’s the way we go to sleep. Soon cuddle in curve of my back, positions all night … keep. Sammy’s lessened my loneliness, love loudness of his purr. Blood pressure Doc’s seen get lower when sit … and stroke Sam’s fur. Sam’s Improved quality of life, my mental health, to boot. Pets mean so much. horses have always been my thing. I love training them and found once they understood what you want training becomes easy. Walking a horse across a pretty pasture on a sunny day is so relaxing. Glad you are posting again. Good poem as usual.

Truly Sammy is a treasure like your poem about him Barbara. I had a kitty growing up and your lovely verse brought back so many memories of Suki. Your love and delight is wonderfully conveyed. And, have seen articles on a pet's ability to lower blood pressure! Congrats and high fives for your win!
