Same Old Lies

There's one lie after another, That comes out of your mouth. Broken promises, Playing over and over, You tell me you have changed, You tell me you are honest, And you will never lie again. I can't take the lies, No more... Stop lying to me, Stop trying to love me, When all you give me is pain. I still love you, And yet, I need to get away, Get away from the hurt, Away from you. You will never change, It's all the same, Our love was a joke, It was the same old lies...

A sad and brutally honest piece of writing Chelsea. Writing is the best therapy in my opinion, I hope you do what is best for you.

Actually, that's really what it is, I'm not just posting my newer poems because it's something going on in my life, it's just therapy, I love writing, especially poetry, and at the moment, it's comforting me :)
