Samantha
I need her but I can’t be with her
So tired of the judgment from seeing me with her
She’s in the air that I breathe
Feeling lonely, I can’t stop the longing
That’s why she’s the girl that I need
No matter what they’ll never take her from me
I’m sleep but in my dreams I’m still seeing her
Flying high above it all it’s just me and her
Not just the want, this is the way it’s gotta be
So when she calls I’ll always answer
I feel the pain to see her leave
This doomed love with my sweet Samantha
But not now, I can’t think of not being with her
Holding on to life’s shackles, though I’m free with her
They tell me that I can’t have it both ways
But this yearnful lust I need her touch
Samantha alone won’t sustain my soul
But holding on to this world is getting to be much to tough
From the way the world disappears when I’m breathing her
To the pain in the back of my brain when I’m needing her
We once were separated by the tides
Came crashing together, embedded in each other
Like the rocks and the sea when they collide
Destined to be you and me for forever
If they could only feel the way I feel about her
I’m in much more agony when I’m without her
This flame is a reflection of our love
Flickering up and down, you see the pain and the art
Burning together in this deadly embraceful hug
Sorry to say, but you’ll never again see us apart
