Salute To You
SALUTE TO YOU
We speak to you
and we say out loud, salute!
Salute for casting out brutes
for your courage
for your outrage
You were so selfless
You never minded about losing lives
But saving lives
Your bones speak
Your blood speaks
We believe they never dried
They are alive, they never died
You did not die in vain
But your service is an honor
for you died innocently
You are martyrs not mafias
you sacrificed your lives
for the betterment of us
We are so grateful
We commemorate you for your heroic deeds
For your boldness to stand up against the beasts
dedicated to 3rd March, Martyrs Day in my country, Malawi
