Saints and Sinners
Saints and Sinners
For Contest:
The sinners will abuse you leaving you broken, battered and torn.
The saints will say I love you, a bright star you are being born.
The sinners will cast blame compulsively until you believe it.
The saints will give you armor, lift you up with laughter and wit.
The sinners will do anything to make sure they get their way.
The saints give you strength while singing everything will be ok.
The sinners will spew their endless lies trying to twist your mind.
The saints will stand by truth, lead you to people who are kind.
The sinners will take it further, acting out with horrific crime.
The saints believe in justice. It goes through the courts this time.
The sinners face their consequence still claiming they did no wrong.
The saints celebrate your righteousness, as life becomes your song.
