Safely Fall Asleep

Safely Fall Asleep America I am so glad has been With me through thick and then Sandy shore was weather beaten Bright morning me was greeting. Mountains with snow peak to peak And her great beauty always seek While it was waiting there for me No better place can possibly be. With my home have been blessed And each river's arm me caressed Which was either silently in solitude Or by whole being valiantly viewed. Both my parents for me always care See lovely flowers bloom everywhere And green pastures as they do grow Fireflies at that will glow and glow. All my prayers to God I have said Several more verses in Bible read Help those who will cry and weep Watch over me as I fall asleep. James Serious Mysterious Horn Retired Veteran and Poet
