Sad Truth and No Gloating
You found comfort in such costly things, no pleasure in our family and life together
I saw the selfish way you thought of yourself and ignored our daughter and I begged you
to change. And you did by changing address and with another man.
What you never expected was the character of our child and she choosing me to live with
instead of you. Only then did you finally see what a truly great mind she had.
And what a great love for her faithfully loving dad.
Ahh, but its those little shocks that are foundation of a coming justice.
One I no longer wish upon you but its not my choice.
This I dedicate to you. I'll send a copy for KK to send to you.
Sad Truth and No Gloating
Selfish deeds are like scum on a pond
covering it and smothering so very much
Of money you were so very , very fond
now greed stinks on everything you touch
You have your wealthy man, your millions and a new life
so why is your time filled with sadness, despair and family strife
Yes, tales are now often told happily by your family to me
they too finally opened their hearts and eyes to see
I take no satisfaction in the troubles you now enjoy
the new man you found could not be your slavish toy
Amazingly bad when that old coin is rightly flipped
life is cold as ice and on it you finally slipped ........ Robert L.
ok, maybe just a little bit of gloating..
