Sad Remember

I didn't even want this cold and sunny afternoon, because I already expected rain and a taciturn setting to frame my soul that restless visits the past, just to see that my anguish have name and address, if she still lives there, in that apartment annoyingly ascetic, clean and white, with her dragon mood who suffers from heartburn .

Oh my, I don't know whether to laugh or cry, Marco. I like this poem in its simplicity and straightforwardness. It seems your experience there was not a good one! A "dragon mood who suffers from heartburn" brought up some raw memories of my ex-wife!!!

Oh my, Marco. I'm so glad you are out of that situation. No one should have to live on someone else's terms. It can destroy self-respect, and it can certainly destroy companionship. I think I understand your poem better now. I think we should avoid these toxic situations at all costs!

Milton, you have no idea how toxic mine was!!!! It was so intransigent that she intended me to pee sitting on the toilet, so there was no risk of dirtying the bathroom floor!!!!
