Sackcloth and Ashes

Sackcloth and Ashes The fabric of the universe. The fabric of suffering for mankind. Fibers woven on the looms of heaven. Each strand gathered and dipped in gold and love. Interconnected into the most extravagant garment of hope. Sewn with the intent of healing the hearts of all mankind. Sackcloth and Ashes. A garment worn by the chosen yet humbled and meek. Everywhere they travel judgments they bring. Calling all of mankind to repent and ready their hearts to meet the Messiah, The King. Dressed in authority yet adorned with grace and humility. Cloaked with compassion and striving to spare the world from its own misery. Sackcloth and Ashes. Gwendolen Rix 2-1-15
