What a well-written, inspirational poem, Rhoda! Truly uplifting. I am a sponge for these type success stories, probably because my own son is special needs or maybe just because I care. I am sure Ryan Taylor would love to have your poem and wonder if you've investigated how to send it to him??? Great job ... CayCay

If I send it to Ryan I think I might have to consider sending one to all the competitors, and that would not be right! Thanks for the complements, I am loving writing these poems about the Rio Paralympians. I love disability sport and think it sends the right message out about doing sport in general. Nobody should hesitate to do sport, any sport and anybody, 'cos it won't ever hurt you even if you are just semi-sensible about it since it will only make you fit and healthy, with a healthy diet. Nice to hear from you CayCay!
