Running From Yourself
You run across my mind, but in my heart I hold you back,
I don't want to remember that pain, I purposely forget,
Because i already know deep in my soul you run with your outter image,
That it would take a bulldozer to make you face what you can't finish,
So overloaded with pride, it directs your every move,
You claim its just the opposite so you don't look like a fool,
Living for their image will only wear you down,
I saw the truth within your your eyes before you even skipped town,
You fight yourself on the regular, your pulled in every direction,
Everyone else's opinions block you from seeing your own reflection,
Your here, your there, your everywhere.dam straight! You are confused,
You can't even sit still for five minutes to contemplate why you do what you do,
