"runaway Train"
Karaoke night at my favourite bar,
A few steps to the stage, but it seems so far.
Reach for the mic and hold onto it tight,
Take a deep breath, don't let them see fright.
Music starts with a familiar refrain
And I start singing my heart out with "Runaway Train".
The runaway train thats never looking back
And going wrong way on that one way track.
Each lyric is embedded deep in my brain
As I belt out my rendition of "Runaway Train".
I thank Soul Asylum for introducing this tune,
When the crowd starts clapping, I'm over the moon.
