Routines

We all establish our routines Which differ man to man And stick to them (we women, too!) Both when and if we can. The time we wake, our washing up, The toothpaste that we use, The breakfast that we eat or not, The paper we peruse… The games we play, the friends we call, The places we hang out, The TV shows we watch or don’t Define what we’re about. Some people like to shake things up And vary their routines But mine are as embedded As my blood type or my genes!

When I was young, I thrived on spontaneity, Now that I am older I prefer routine. Great humor in this fun write, Ilene.

I have my routines, too. Which sometimes includes reading Jewish Week and the Foward along with the times. Do you play chess? I just posted a poem about chess on the "soup". Do you know any women who would be interested in meeting a Jewish poet who visits Middle Earth at Times? Just saw "Phantom" of the Opera" on Broadway. It is a very good show! I may have another poem in the Times tomorrow! B'Shalom Matthew Anish
