Rosetta Stone

I'm writing my heart out clean tonight; my Mask only read in your mummified veins; I join your heart in its breaking's right— I'd not meant you to be alone; these days. I still grasp your dawn on me you made. The hieroglyphics of your world That never ciphered more a lovely soul— The feminine Phoenix's winged image By my heart and yours; though a crashed port— Do we not still speak the same language

Such innovative references and imagery, Paige! And the title is perfect to sum up your last line "do we not still speak the same language!" Well done! Blessings!

Sometimes we wonder if the one we love speaks a complete different language to us.. a deeply emotive poem this one.. your arrangement of words are very good.

I love dizains. Yours flow very well. I think i should write one too been a while. I felt this so much reading this. sometimes even if the port can be crashed, still you speak same language, and no matter what we remember and feel what we feel, its ok you can take your time alone, sometimes we need that too: i love using “ hieroglyphics “ in my poems too. Brilliant write. Well expressed
