''Rose''

To smell as sweet as her name. Embodied beauty. Reach embraced course of magnetic sparks. Gentle,delicate,rare touch of soft lips. Rays of light strike eyes of glass. Pierce my soul. A warmed red shock into an everlasting love. Breath of the rose,lye still in her palm. Side and side,the fields' of green surround us.

Congrats Kacey! I believe a rose says it all. I am blessed that my spouse is regularly buying me flowers. You are so correct in your third line with the course of magnetic sparks. I especially enjoyed your line of a warmed red shock into an everlasting love. They make women do all kinds of crazy things--despite if they are red or yellow OR white. Kacey you have this poem entered in a contest that is strictly for dodoitsu, this lovely piece does not qualify but I would appreciate it if you removed it and attempted a dodoitsu for the contest, the form is simple and you might enjoy trying something new
