Rose

Remembering your silken skin - oh Rose Which brought me to rattling knees My heart, springs a steady bleed Where you've wandered no one knows Like you became a ghost I'm left a vessel upon a harsh reed No harbor to rest the boat And i reach for you, Rose Radiant beauty drew me in tied me off in her mystic bay To miss her so is my worst sin How i wish she could have stayed I find myself anchored, bud to stem longing to see her face

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
