River Lily
River Lily aligns distant shore,
Nostalgia haunts e’ermore.
Supple petals skyscape hue,
Cruelty plucked heart askew.
Willows bow to infinitely weep,
Cleave beauty, in sodden keep.
Bloom, marred by dire ache,
Dewdrops swell in rolling wake.
River rocks to comfort I assume,
Exult remote, battered bloom
Though, sorrow usher icy chills,
Stoic notions hinder spills.
She yearns summer embrace,
Sunbeams cure lovely face.
Ardent waters built shrine,
Console her, once she was divine.
