River, Blood, Wine
Calm down my children
I'll take you to the river
Under my faith it's exposed until now
Pure and unrefined until now
He's washed his hands in the water
Turning it toblood and giving birth
He takes it all
Away from me
But leaves his beloveds in my care
Nurtured and fed they've praised me
Forgetting their real father completely
Then He returns to find he's a stranger
Winged demon from beneath my feet
I've forgotten my age and became a figure
As he follows me, clocking my maturity
But evading him proved too easy
Now the blood has turned to sweet amber
The taste blinds me like everclear
At least now He won't bother me
The wine has never tasted so...
