Ripple Effect

Rush of the sugared breeze. Palms up. Washing like sweet water over me. Dark greens fade into lighter shades of itself. The wind crawls through the blades of grass, A snake in it’s true form. A mountain blue sky traces and cuts white Clouds across the canvas. I carry a salty taste on my skin. The marble water sits away from me, Nested in the trees beyond. Open space seeps into my mind, Flowing through time and purpose. Breathe steady and unmeasured With the air. Eyes drifting over the distance, This is why I came.
