Rings In a Tree
Miss you more than I thought possible.
More than should be allowed.
Miss your humor and your laughter.
The way you loved me forever after.
The years ticked by and decades appeared,
Like the rings in a tree, growing wider each year.
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock, another ring in the tree,
Tick-Tock... Tock... Tock...
Gone, like the time on a clock.
