Right Now (Part 1)

Right now, I'm sitting here writing this rhyme, As I do it, millions of people are abused by time, God knows I would help them if I truely could, There are many people I'm sure who also would. Right now, little Timmy is waiting for a willing organ doner, None of the kids in his school care, he's always been a loner, The doctor says the prognosis doesn't look very good, His parents hope he won't die, and he's wishing he would. Right now, some homeless bum is running down the street, Running from the man that he hoped he never would meet, This man wants to try something with his brand new gun, Funny how theres such a thin line between fear and fun. Right now, someone is spending their paycheck to fix their car, They have to have it, to walk to their job is simply much too far, Now they can't even buy food because all their money is spent, What will happen at the end of the month when they can't pay rent? Right now, someone is playing slots in Vegas trying, hoping to hit it big, That someone is so poor they can barely afford to puff on that second hand cig, They know that if they get lucky and become the big winner, They might know for once what its like to have a real dinner. Right now, some girl is sitting in her empty apartment, Wondering just where her fiance of 11 months went, He said he'd be right back, he was just going to the store, Now she knows that the bastard doesn't love her anymore. Right now, some superstar is walking all alone to his car, He is looking around wondering where his bodyguards are, A beggar asks him for money, knowing his life this superstar can affect, The superstar shoves him away scattering the $0.05 the bum wanted to protect. Right now, a mother is going through her labor pain, Kicking and screaming at her family Doctor DeWayne, Doctor DeWayne says it will be either the baby or the mother. And now a husband quietly says goodbye to his significant other.
