Riding the Waves
The setting sun kisses the tops of the waves,
while foam to the sandy beach is bound.
As creatures settle in for the night,
and moonlight makes shadows on the ground.
Sea grass dancing at the edge, mimics the waves,
as gentle breezes blow across the shore.
Mysterious feelings as evening descends,
and peace and contentment begin to soar.
For we cannot hide, disappoint will come.
A life with no challenge, no struggle, no need,
would give life no meaning, no joy to behold.
Enduring ebb and flow drives us to succeed.
So, ride the waves, be they foamy or calm,
and welcome the sun, it will rise and fall
through the storms of day, and the dark of night,
and with Gods help, you can conquer it all.
