Don't ride that wave afraid of the coming crash... In those moments when you're on that crest.... suspended between heaven and earth... when the is wind in your hair..... and the thundering foam of ecstasy is pushing you up... higher and higher.... Ride the wave.... young and free... In mad rush of glee... it's your destiny..... It's meant to be... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This moment of exhilaration... in sheer abandonment of all thought... NOW.... ride the wave~~~~~ ride the wave~~~~ ride the wave~~~~~ ~*~~~~**~~**~~~*~*~*Be FREE*~~~**~***~**~**** Eileen Manassian

Another amazing verse!! I love how you structured it, and most of all the message...I like the lines-"In those moments when you're on that crest.... suspended between heaven and earth.'Your voice is godlike in demeanor, assuring with passion.. a fantastic verse and the picture is also really pretty. It's now or never! Always, Laura

Your wave carries me into the youth of passion...your ocean the origin of my heart's dangerous exploration...the tides of your body my soul's rhapsody...I need to be saved on that wave of your love's crave...you always bring out the poetry of my heart woman. Great write about love and freedom...that wave is best shared...J.A.B.

Waves of euphoria sometimes don't last long, Justin...But what they do last....we need to make the most of it...Ride out that wave.....ride it out...and maybe the crash will be exhilarating as well. Yes...your response is beautifully poetic. You have a way with words that is magnetic. I LOVE reading your posts and your poems. Everything you write is beautiful.

Sheer abandonment and the feeling of exhilaration can be felt throughout, Eileen. You ride waves with vigour and passion...till ecstasy brings you satiated to shore. // paul

It seems, Paul...I'm insatiable. I really don't know what to do about that! :( Grumpy me. Thanks for the lovely visit, Partner. Hope all is well.

Yes, yes . . . I like this poem very much . . . natural raw power of nature's wind and wave matched against the raw power of our human desire to love with abandonment. To ride the wave we make ourselves vulnerable to crushing forces of life that is lived deeply and passionately . . . a life most worthy to live. This is my favorite Little One . . . amazing you are -- riding high . . .one with the waves . . . smiling!! 7, fav

There was such a lovely sensual pic for this poem...a painting of a naked woman on the crest of the wave. I was scared PS would censor it, so I decided to play by the rules, but you know...I feel naughty enough to try it and see if anyone will rat out on me. Hugs

To love with abandonment is such a beautiful thing. We only lose out when we hold back. :) Glad you liked this piece, David. Little One is happy to have you riding waves with me.

This makes me think of last summer when I ran one of the Rapids in Cumcheen outside the raft. It was exhilarating!
