John, congrats on your placement in my contest! I remember Nixon (I was a teen) being called "tricky Dicky". Excellent clerihew! Love, Kim

They called him "tricky dick". He was a real piece of work. His dog was named "checkers". His wife was Pat. His daughter married an Eisenhower if I remember correctly.

good one for him, John. I just noticed a glitch in the new "poems new (1 per) list. When You go to that list and cllick on Forms, it brings up poems by categories but then when I try to see this one, richard Nixon, I click on that title and see the nose poem instead. That is why i commented first to your other one!! anyway, I am sure loving this new list that allows us to see a variety of poets according to form

Andrea, tried that approach to viewing the poems and it seems a bit easier and less congested.
