Revelations
The prudent dwelling of wisdom,
stays in comfort with my soul
and questions in conversation my tethered body.
To know such answers is beyond the wisest heart
and finds a multitude of words cannot describe their separation.
How is it the heart and soul are not one
and if the heart dies would not the soul also vanish?
As the sun rises in the east and sets in the west,
bringing a new day, so does life.
We rise and fall in frustration of not knowing,
what is or is not beyond the last breath.
To say I know is not wisdom, it's faith.
To say I don't know is truth,
though it lays buried in time's sand,
by the many who came before declaring I know,
with their own faith.
They too dreamed of laying by peaceful waters,
for all eternity, all had faith, all had hope, as do we all,
but..to stand before these passing ghosts
and claim to know, is foolishness.
In such matters between the soul and heart,
we hope, we claim faith, we claim wisdom,
yet..truth will only reveal itself at death.
contest Soul Consciousness
Question.. Will your soul be conscious after you have left Earth.
