Resurrection

( RESURRECTION ) We hold so close to our hearts, the cross where Jesus died. So much more than the blood stained cross, He came back to life. The stones been rolled away, The tomb lay open and bare. The women, disciples, looked for him, but he was no longer there. Oh what joy that they felt, to see him just once more. To eat and drink and gather round, to have him back as lord. They thought he was a vision, until he spoke out loud. They bowed down to the precious king, feeling very proud. He told many of coming back, but some did not believe. The soldiers held there ground, until they fell asleep. So much he did accomplish, through his death apon the cross. He gave everlasting life for others, all because of his loss. Nothing else could give us peace, the sin had wrenched apart. Now we can freely go to God, and recieve him in our hearts. Nothing else can even come close, not a day or a section. Now all of us can have everlasting life, thank God for his resurrection.
