Rest

Your eyes spoke words my heart couldn't describe, Directing my steps in utterance through the night, I awaken to hear your voice in hopes to remember, The deepness of your love speaking such wisdom, My eyes are in slumber, but my heart fully awake, You see through all the chaos, yet you give me your grace, You wrap my heart in safety, the fear is destroyed, You place me, and position me, through your love I endure, Walking my heart through treacherous terrain, I take your hand and your love leads the way, My heart feels your peace within the mess, He says "Don't worry, my child, lay your head down to rest."
