poem written for Unseeking Seeker's Awaking from Stupor Contest 1/12/2024
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Something has happened; something has changed. Something to portend; perception exchanged. A door has been opened; another has closed. A feeling amended; another exposed. A state resurrected from silent subconscious deep; awareness once neglected no longer asleep. Past passions renewed; an emotive rebirth. Vibrant, joy now imbued with tear-stricken mirth.
"awareness once neglected no longer asleep." When real awareness comes, a rebirth happens and joy emanates. The possibility of another door opening when one door closes is so very comforting. A beautiful poem dear Sara and congratulations on your great win!
I shall have a sweet weekend...snow here in Texas (weird, yes) so I'm hunkering down for the long haul and preparing to drink lots of 'sweet' hot cocoa. Have a splendid weekend as well, Sara
Thoughts of awakening resonate and enlighten in your words, Sara: A door has been opened; another has closed. A feeling amended; another exposed--we renew our hearts and minds as we progress through life. You painted your theme, well.
