Resolution

RESOLUTION The alarm signals another day, what lies ahead, my mood overcast I feel static, the world's standing still sophorific, wearisome seeking a rationale Why why can't men cry? My solid facade, ready to succumb feelings held tight within, what lies ahead, can I still win? Each day's a surprise, an odyssey mundane ,routine, run of the mill. Glimpsing the future now, here and now once featureless, no longer if..but how! I can sympathize with your poem, Brian. Yes it would be so much simpler if we men could just shed a tear now and again. To my shame I cannot recall the last time I truly cried...Frightening! All the very best for your New Year - Cheers! :) john
