This is an Ode about Vietnam. It is the largest exporter of Cashews, black pepper and the 2nd largest exporter of rice (lines 1-3). Snake wine is a Vietnamese specialty of rice wine with a pickled snake inside (Ruou ran) which allegedly can cure any sickness (line 4). It cuisines are one of the healthiest in the world (line 5). Mythical holy dragon and mythical holy bird, the turtle and the horse are cultural symbols of worship (lines 6-8). Vietnam defeated America in the Vietname war (lines 9-10).

A blessed soil which perspires cashews and coughs out black pepper, its global banner of rice is raised so high which is only beaten by one. Specializing in the juices of the commonest limbless reptile with cuisines highly recommended by the parliaments of health. From dragons to birds; the turtle to the horse; the minds of its people have well been bonded to these, making historians marvel at which exactly helped in denting the American military pride.

Hello Funom, An excellent write here for sure with a very powerful metaphor and meaning. (Although I'm an American, I do understand the point your driving toward. Military solutions, at best, are only temporary and rarely solve the real problems at hand. Don't forget, the Russians under Vladimir Putin, and their unbridled use of total military force in killing innocent civilians and people opposing the dictator Assad. What about ISIS -- the real target??) A "7"/FAV Funom!! Cheers and Best, Gary
