Requiem

Into the evening light Falls a heart shaped cloud, White plumed and calling With Island eyes, sublime. Drifting down, shielded In oblivion, smiling, Her translucent neck Dissolves into depths, The sun too weak to Save her, she will surely Drown into the fading Horizon, she cannot loom. Scents of ocean breeze Sweeten the loss, she is gone.
