Replica of Jesus
Replica of Jesus
Christmas started out so splendid
Until it had finally, recently ended
Decorations and tree taken down
Alive and green now turning brown.
Ours is artificial and stays green
And what to tell you still do mean
To me it is really, only way to go
Stays same size and does not grow.
Placed all in boxes and put away
And will be waiting for another day
Thoroughly enjoyed as we shout
Time again to take everything out.
Went to church and I am no stranger
On Epiphany, Jesus was in a manager
Became our savior proper and prim
What we now see is a replica of Him.
