Reminiscence
I am here again
You are not
Birds you fed, await
River, you held my hand on its bank, is still
Stone, you carved our names on it, stares
Tree, we sat beneath, showers heat
Cloud is a burning sheet
My sweat is cold
Breath on hold
I tremble like a leaf
Adrift like a deaf
My tongue stammer
Senses lost manner
I have exhausted each hope
In climbing a broken Rope
Days couldn’t last
They went so fast
This fleeting moment asks
I am here again why you are not?
