Reminder of Blessings

Counting down the remains of time For when we can pop the cheap champagne and boxed wine For a week and change At night feeling Juju preparing as well engage Pushing downwards, giving pressure and stabs of bittersweet pains In the day, as I gaze in the mirror Watching my belly drop little by little its clearer That he maybe born before expected date Not on time, not late But early, as if hes anticipating the exact same emotions as daddy and I are My poor little guy from lack of room has been irritable by far Stress tests by week show this as I tell him, itll be ok my little one, rubbing my belly to calm As he moves and cups my palm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Miracles are never ending Gifts are forever giving Be thankful of your blessings As they come in different messages Experiences may come as the dark night sky But always remember that goodness hides inbetween that helps you to get by Beauty comes in different forms Keep a clear head to see through the storm The light is closer then you perceive As long as you stay determined and believe That not all experiences are to hurt They are of instead lessons of connections that your soul is to be alert Keep an open mind and you will see That what I am saying is true, this wisdom is without fee Using my pregnancy as an example as a sample To a meaning Of reminding yourself of to be grateful of your blessings
