Remain In the Darkness

Remain in the darkness, though full of fright, Children of faith do not fear; I will find you there, it is a sure sight. When the night comes, don't seek the light Tho uncertainty is so hard to bear; Remain in the darkness, though full of fright. Blurred vision causing men to suffer blight Be still, for it will be steered clear; I will find you there, it is a sure sight. The night, don't turn to a day bright For brilliance is yet insincere Remain in the darkness, though full of fright. Blinding darkness overnight Is all you have to bear; I will find you there, it is a sure sight. Tonight you should not spite Open your heart and you will hear Remain in the darkness, though full of fright. I will find you there, it is a sure sight. ** inspired by st john of the cross’ the dark night of the soul 7/15/14
