Reliving Barefoot Memories
Barefoot on the sand
is it a warm place
that I dabble my toes
in the inviting water?
Say it is so, it has
been so dreary here.
I really need to escape
to a place the sun shines.
Sparkling and glimmering
crystals catch my attention
like a child discovering a
diamond or a new toy.
If only I could be barefoot
walking along the beach
every day in my real life,
I really need change.
You take my hand and away
we go to our special place
where we share our dreams
barefoot on the sand.
