Reliability Is Hard To Come By

Reliability is hard to come by, I hear a sigh Product insurance is offered when you buy Manufacturers do build obsolescence in Sellers know you’ll be coming back again. Product insurance is offered when you buy The appliance is not meant to last forever, Sellers know you’ll be coming back again A dependency dealers are reluctant to sever. The appliance is not meant to last forever Malfunctioning when you need it most, A dependency dealers are reluctant to sever Their product is the very best, they boast. Malfunctioning when you need it most You are forced to buy a replacement, Their product is the very best, they boast, But, now it’s in a box in your basement! You are forced to buy a replacement With the same promises and guarantees But, now it’s in a box in your basement, Life is a vicious cycle of these certainties. With the same promises and guarantees Product insurance is offered when you buy, Life is a vicious cycle of these certainties, Reliability is hard to come by, I hear a sigh.

The ABAB rhythm is not easy to pull off, but you have exceeded what should have been done in this one.

It does not help that what we think as new has been sitting in Warehouses for years. If you look at date of manufacture. Poor quality control can be an occasional bonus as it lets the odd item that has built to last through. They also have a trick of making the instructions for product care difficult to read or carry out. Unlike your poems which are easy to follow with a clear message that is delivered in style with touch of panache to make it easy to digest. Keep them coming. David in NZ

Don't know if it's just me but appliances years ago were better manufactured and lasted for years. This extended guarantee malarkey is a money making racket. I never buy them and the money I've saved not doing so I put towards a new appliance when I need one. Tom

Right on. I do the same thing. I tell them, if it breaks, I'll either have it repaired on buy a new one. But, I never give them extra money for cockamamie promises!
