Rejoice

The full moon shone with glory, Torches burned with passion and fury, The few that remained of the foe trembled, Their red swords laid latent and trampled. Echoes of rejoice disturbed the calm sky, Few listened to the warnings of the wind passing by, Swords were surrendered to joy, As was the night to ploy. The joyful eyes noticed the mountains great, Stood a thousand shadows, still as the trees, Rejoice turned to panic as the shadows advanced, The swords on the ground seemed too far to reach. The moon adorns a veil of shame, The river of blood now embraces the silent torches, The foes stand with pride, Their swords touching the sky.
