~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When the words don’t lure me with their muse, Desire to pour out hopes, dreams, light that bleeds, Wetting the beauty of my heart’s best seeds, Emptying the feelings, once caged by pain, shame, Thoughts meant to be penned, poetry, mapped out, Despairing of the urge to stay buried by a trail of can’t.
Regina, Your poem captures the struggle and triumph over personal barriers, but words are the key to unlocking and expressing emotions and visions. CHeers, Don
I can identify with your words, dear Gina. Loved 'thoughts meant to be penned, poetry mapped out...buried by a trail of I can't. Outstanding! have a great day, Sara
