Regain Your Salvation

what does it mean when someone has lost their soul? does it mean that of their fate they no longer have control? what does it take for one to rectify this situation? what does one have to do to regain one's salvation? it would probably take more than just attending church for one needs to reconcil with Jesus the savior first you need to accept Him as the way into the Kingdom of God you need to accept Him as your savior and let the Holy Spirit into your heart recite the Sinner's Prayer, repent and then atone and understand that you can't do it all alone as a child of Christ you're one of His precious joys as a child of Christ you're one of His beloved girls and boys just don't think for one minute that God ever wants to let you go for He loves each of us with a passion that we may never know so turn to the Father and abide by His teachings be like His son Jesus and learn from His preaching for the battle is not just yours and remember you have the Spirit of the Sword regain your salvation by turning your life over to the Lord

This is an excellent poem. It flows with such reverence. I like your use of the rhetorical questioning technique to set the stage. There is one way to salvation and this is through our savior, Jesus Christ. Great job and God bless! ~Joseph

Once saved always saved. You don't lose your salvation, you dont't regain it. A lost person never had Slavation to begin with. other wise this is a very good poem, with a great message. thank you for reading my poem and for your comment.

that she didn't want me in his life - She said the times her and I spent together were wonderful but they just made the times I was gone which was 99% of the time that much worse - I had what is known as a moment of clarity and I saw myself as I actually was instead of the delusion that I believed myself to be - Honesty, compassion, desire and love - These four things were the foundation that I built my faith upon and now I am a pretty good feller and all my kids, grandkids are a part of my life

You know Louise I can answer this for one day in Prison I found my soul that had been lost for over thirty years and their was no Church, nor Bible or even anyone at all religious - just me and the Lord (I do now attend Church so don't take this the wrong way) and I had reached my bottom - I was strung out on heroin, sick as a dog and I got a letter from my daughter that stated she was going to have a baby and she said if I wasn't going to be a better grandfather than I was a father -
