Refuge Among Parasols

Curtains of parasols hide the sky from an outer world to guard the lit splendor of dusk undone, where ferris wheels roll in a time restricted by structured hours. Cotton candy puffs mid-air for at least a longer moment, when children in Sunday frocks escape into a thrill of magic, dreaming of a refuge from things mundane. The colored umbrellas burst into firework parade Above a welcoming air swaying on handles lit by conniving stars; the ringmaster boasts of circus' finale prompting the fat lady to dance an encore--- a mimic of play sheltering giggles for extended tweets before undue slumber.
