Refracting Light

Morning light refracts Breaking yonder through the window pane Falls asleep beside my feet And I ponder what it has to say Lying dormant bound and picturesque It offers up a thousand thoughts As it recedes back up into diamond dusk I find myself among debate of profound and inner wroughts In philosophy the mind still believes it sees the light Ancient as the stars a million miles ago Takes upon a journey to places deep and further in Passed the minutes of the man only seconds before I once have known
