I certainly don't have everything but I have much more than I need. I have no real regrets.
Reflections of Age

Reflections of age, in the mirror I see
A face looking back that is older than me
I know I'm not young, mind not as old as I look
Years spent to get here took as long as it took
Still see the boy who was outside all day
With friends real or not many games he would play
Cowboys and soldiers, searching swamps, climbing trees
Imagination still there in eyes looking at me
Visions of years spent in going to school
Finding there was a brain and I wasn't a fool
Thought I knew more than some teacher's I had
Lucky for me was a soon passing fad
Only too soon, the school years were done
Had to fend for myself now that I was the one
Had mentors who helped me to do it my way
Give myself a quick smile that I did it okay
A retired young man in the mirror looks back
Just got out of bed, the wife's still in the sack
Have to go make the coffee before she gets up
A loving tradition reflected in the first cup
