Reflections At the Sea

Gentle winds caress my wrinkled old skin, As I slowly sink in sea's softest sand. Gliding flight of seabirds seen once again. Beyond gray contours as sea touches land. Soft silhouettes float where birds claim their space. As I silently stare upon this view, I'll find warmer edges my eyes embrace, And find like you, I am just passing through. A moment cherished, to what will become. To wonder of my place in life's decree. To hear the same music from tides soft strum, Like the souls who've stood here long before me. As beautiful colors float in my mind. I'll hope the next old soul reflects in kind.

Very good Frederic. This was rich in imagery and alliteration, and, though it's been a while, felt the soft sand under my feet Thomas Side note: I have not heard from our friend Gene Bourne in 15 months, and am afraid he may have passed away. I have been unable to contact him. If you know of anything will you please let me know. Thank you sir.

Thanks Frederic. Yes, good to see you too. I remember Gene telling me you were here. His phone at his house has been disconnected so either he moved, which was possible, or unfortunately something might have happened. He was and is a great guy. If you ever hear anything please let me know. I have asked a few others and they don't know either. Best 2U. Thomas
